Arrival at the conference

From Frankfurt (M) Flughafen/Airport to "Karlsruhe Hauptbahnhof"

Every hour at xx:54 there is a train from „Frankfurt (M) Flughafen Fernbahnhof” to Karlsruhe. Every uneven hour (like 13:54) the train goes directly to Karlsruhe; every even hour (like 12:54) you have to change train in Mannheim.

 

From Baden Airpark to "Karlsruhe Hauptbahnhof"

Every hour at xx:13 there leaves a Bus to “Rastatt Bahnhof”, where you take the fast tram “S4” to Karlsruhe. Every hour at xx:50 or later in the evening xx:44 there is a Bus to “Baden-Baden Bahnhof” where you take the train to “Karlsruhe Hauptbahnhof”.

 

From "Karlsruhe Hauptbahnhof" to "Gastdozentenhaus"

You take the „Tram 2“ (direction Wolfartsweiher) or „Tram 3“ (direction Heide) to “Kronenplatz”. Take “Waldhornstraße” to the left, next right into “Neuer Zirkel” and after the bar “Engesserstraße” to the left. After 100m you get to the “Gastdozentenhaus” to your right.

 

From "Karlsruhe Hauptbahnhof" to "Berliner Hof"

Coming out of the „Hauptbahnhof“, take “Tram 6” (direction Rappenwörth) or “Tram 4” (direction Waldstadt) that go or S1/S11 that go right. Exit at “Europaplatz”. Go westward toward “Sparkasse” and turn left at the corner (south); 100m on the right to get to “Berliner Hof”

 

From "Karlsruhe Hauptbahnhof" to Workshop Site ("Altes Bauingenieur­gebäude")

Take the tram to Durlacher Tor. Go westward into Kaiserstraße. On your right you have the campus. Enter by the big gate after app. 100m to the right (Rudolf-Planck-Straße). On the grass you can see an old steam enging. It is almost facing the “Altes Bauningenieurgebäude”. Some stairs lead to the main door (south door). The workshop takes place in the upper floor.

From Hotel "Berliner Hof" to Workshop Site ("Altes Bauingenieur­gebäude")

Take the tram (lines 1, S2, S5) to Durlacher Tor. Cross the traffic light and enter the "Kaiserstrasse". On your righthand side, you will find a high building. Enter the campus walking towards this building and you will be situated directly in front of the workshop site.
